SOLAR CLOUD

Openet Technologies SpA participated in the SOLAR CLOUD project, an innovative initiative aimed at creating an advanced cloud platform for the intelligent management of photovoltaic systems. The project aimed to develop an integrated system for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing solar production, even in remote or difficult-to-access locations.

The platform enabled remote data collection via sensors installed on modules, inverters, and weather systems, with transmission via Internet or satellite network to a cloud infrastructure for real-time storage and processing.

Openet played a central role in the design and development of the ICT platform, taking care of the cloud architecture, the data integration from the plants and the implementation of interactive dashboards for operators, technicians and owners.

The company has also contributed to the development of artificial intelligence modules for energy production forecasting, automatic anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance, significantly improving the operational efficiency of plants.

Thanks to its experience in satellite technologies and advanced communication systems, Openet also provided the infrastructure for data transmission from isolated locations, ensuring the platform's full operability in any context.

The project generated significant added value by increasing plant reliability, reducing maintenance costs, and offering greater transparency and security for investors, operators, and stakeholders.

With SOLAR CLOUD, Openet Technologies has confirmed its leading role in the digitalization of the renewable energy sector, promoting intelligent and sustainable solutions for the ecological transition.
