ALADIN

The project is ALADIN (Advanced Lidar Applications for Distance and Navigation) is configured as a technological initiative of leading one in the field of advanced systems for the detection and autonomous navigation, with applications in the fields the aerospace, automotive, and robotic. The goal of the project was the development of solutions based on technology that LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) to improve 3D mapping of the environment, recognition of obstacles and safe browsing in weather conditions or visibility complex.

Openet Technologies ha avuto un ruolo strategico all’interno del progetto, mettendo in campo competenze avanzate in ingegneria del software, sistemi embedded ed elaborazione dati in tempo reale.
In particolare, Openet ha progettato e sviluppato moduli software per l’acquisizione e l’elaborazione dei dati LIDAR, integrando algoritmi di intelligenza artificiale per il riconoscimento di pattern, la classificazione automatica degli oggetti rilevati e il supporto decisionale nei sistemi di guida autonoma.
L’azienda ha inoltre contribuito alla realizzazione delle interfacce di comunicazione tra i sensori LIDAR e i sistemi di bordo, assicurando l’interoperabilità con infrastrutture esistenti e la piena integrazione con altri sottosistemi tecnologici.

The contribution of Openet has been essential to ensure the reliability, accuracy and scalability of the developed solution, accelerating the transfer of technology towards real-world applications in the field of industrial and civil.

Thanks to the project, ALADIN, Openet Technologies has strengthened its position in the field of intelligent systems for mobility and advanced sensors, contributing to the evolution of key technologies for the future of autonomous navigation and perception of the environment.
