The third edition of VITE – Various Innovative Technological Experiences concluded, leaving Matera with a wealth of ideas, connections, and new visions for the future. This year, too, the event was an extraordinary success thanks to the quality of the projects presented, the prestige of the speakers from research institutions, universities, schools, and businesses, and a solid and efficient organizational structure.
Openet Technologies, a strategic partner of the initiative, played a key role in coordinating the entire organizational structure, contributing decisively to the construction of an event that transformed the Sparkme Space Academy into the beating heart of Italian innovation.
From November 10 to 14, 2025, Matera was the scene of an ongoing dialogue between science, technology, art, communication, and territorial development. The event was realized thanks to the collaboration between Sparkme Space Academy, INAF, and CINECA VisitLab, with the patronage of the Municipality of Matera and the Basilicata Region, and with the support of the Lucanian Aerospace Cluster (CLAS). In this complex ecosystem, Openet ensured the harmonization of programs, speakers, logistics, and content, contributing to a smooth and flawless organization.
Four days of vision and future
Monday, November 10th opened with presentations from institutions and key players in the aerospace sector, followed by the inaugural session "AI and Robots: Towards an Augmented Society." There was also great enthusiasm for the presentation of the new Sparkme Space Academy headquarters by Vito Gaudiano, before the networking evening.
Tuesday, November 11th saw the dialogue between research, communication, and dissemination, with the CINECA VisitLab workshop on AI, cultural heritage, and art. The day culminated in the "Connessioni Sonore" concert by the "ER Duni" Conservatory.
Wednesday, November 12th and Thursday, November 13th were dedicated to technologies for industry, SMEs, sustainability, and aerospace, with testimonials from researchers, schools, and businesses engaged in innovative projects and advanced experiments.
A closing session dedicated to culture and inclusion
The day of November 14th saw an exceptional turnout. The first session, dedicated to cultural heritage and music, demonstrated concrete applications of AI, digital twins, and immersive reality. The second session, "Innovation and inclusion in adult education," focused on accessibility, continuing education, and new digital methodologies.
VITE III confirms its role as an essential event for those who see innovation as a driver of development. In this journey, Openet Technologies once again stands out as a facilitator, coordinator, and promoter of complex ecosystems, capable of connecting different actors and shaping events that generate real impact on the territory.
Openet will continue to invest in initiatives that enhance skills, creativity, and vision, contributing to the technological and cultural development of Basilicata and the country as a whole.
