An initiative aimed at developing advanced technological solutions for the intelligent and sustainable management of urban contexts. The project, which was successfully completed, involved several public and private partners and was aimed at transforming cities into more efficient, connected and livable environments.
In the context of the project, Openet has made available its expertise in the fields of urban IoT, sensor networks, real-time data management and the development of interoperable digital platforms.
The company has designed and developed software components for the integration and analysis of data from heterogeneous urban systems (lighting, traffic, air pollution, waste), contributing to the creation of a centralized dashboard for intelligent city monitoring.
Openet also oversaw the implementation of predictive models based on artificial intelligence algorithms, designed to support public administration decisions with a view to energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and improved services for citizens.
Through its participation in the urban living labs included in the project, Openet collaborated in testing solutions in real environments, contributing to their refinement based on feedback from local stakeholders.
The conclusion of the SMART CITY project has allowed Openet Technologies to consolidate its position in the sector of smart city technologies, confirming its commitment to digital innovation to support sustainable urban transformation.
