Openet Technologies S.p.A. participates actively in the project EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub), a strategic initiative promoted by the European Commission to support the digital transformation of business and public administration. The project aims to create a network of hub at the european level, can provide skills, advanced technologies and services to support innovation.
The main objective is to promote the use of digital technologies emerging – as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, IoT, and high-performance computing – in the production processes, in public services and sustainable management of the territory.
In this context, Openet Technologies plays a strategic role, contributing with its expertise in the field ICT, sensors, data integration, and platforms, cloud-based.
The company is involved in:
- activity training and technology transfer to SMES and public administration;
- development and testing of digital solutions and experimental, with the approach to “test before you invest”;
- integration of data from heterogeneous sources for the monitoring and intelligent management of the territory;
- support the ecological transition and the digital in the areas of energy, environment and mobility.
Through EIDH, Openet has strengthened its role as a facilitator of innovation, providing enabling technologies and application know-how to support the competitiveness and the digitization of the production system.
The project is currently in progress, and represents a key lever for sustainable development and the digital territories, in line with the objectives of the Green Deal and Digital Agenda for europe.
