Openet took part, as associated, at the twentieth annual conference of the COPEAM, the Permanent Conference of the Mediterranean Audiovisual. Bringing together more than 100 audiovisual professionals from 23 Countries of the Mediterranean basin
(including 35 public radios and television), the non-profit association – with its international and inter-professional experience ,works with the aim of strengthening intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding among the peoples of the Region.
During the annual meeting, attended by over 200 delegates from 27 countries, we discussed the role of media in the Mediterranean, where the serious economic crisis is worsened by the profound socio-political changes of recent times.
