The goal of the project was the development of solutions based on technology that <strong>LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging)<\/strong> to improve <strong>3D mapping of the environment<\/strong>, <strong>recognition of obstacles<\/strong> and <strong>safe browsing<\/strong> in weather conditions or visibility complex.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Openet Technologies has had a <strong>strategic role<\/strong> within the project, putting in the field of advanced skills in the <strong>software engineering, embedded systems and data processing in real-time<\/strong>.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">In particular, Openet has designed and developed a <strong>software modules for the acquisition and processing of LIDAR data<\/strong>, integrating algorithms <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong> for the pattern recognition, the <strong>the automatic classification of the detected objects<\/strong> and the decision support systems of autonomous guide.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">The company has also contributed to <strong>realization of the communication interfaces<\/strong> between the sensors, LIDAR, and on-board systems, ensuring <strong>interoperability with existing infrastructure<\/strong> and the full integration with other subsystems technology.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">The contribution of Openet has been essential to ensure the <strong>reliability, accuracy and scalability<\/strong> of the developed solution, accelerating the transfer of technology towards real-world applications in the field of industrial and civil.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Thanks to the project, ALADIN, Openet Technologies has strengthened its position in the field of <strong>intelligent systems for mobility and advanced sensors<\/strong>, contributing to the evolution of key technologies for the future of autonomous navigation and perception of the environment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Il progetto ALADIN (Advanced Lidar Applications for Distance and Navigation) si \u00e8 configurato come un\u2019iniziativa tecnologica di punta nel campo dei sistemi avanzati di rilevamento e navigazione autonoma, con applicazioni nei settori aerospaziale, automotive e robotico.
