OPENET was present at the International Conference on Satellite Telecommunications sponsored by the IEEE-AESS, one of the most authoritative and prestigious associations in the world for technological innovation. The Conference dedicated to the aerospacial technologies and to the satellite telecommunications an intense program of high scientific relevance.

OPENET participated to the scientific workshops with the presentation of the paper “TELEVISION AND EDUCATION: THE ROLE OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS”, prepared by the CEO, Vito Gaudiano and by the COO, Filomena Cuccarese. The paper intended to provide for an overview and some reflections on the use of information technology and communication, particularly with regard to television and radio media as a major tools to support teaching and learning methods, especially for interventions on a large scale.
The consolidated experience of OPENET in the field, as publisher of Edutainment in international contexts, as well as the dissemination of these contents in broadcast mode in Europe and Africa via satellite, gave rise to an intense debate, which confirmed the importance of these instruments in the digital age, where the integration of the television tool with other (web) platforms increases its usability.
